In this day and age, everything that we own and operate runs on electricity. That is why it is such a traumatizing experience when the power goes out and we are left with nothing to run our computers or televisions or Play Stations or refrigerators or dish washers or phone chargers. Yes, it can be said that we have grown quite dependent upon electricity. Some will say too dependent, but I argue that it is the right amount.
